Flat Lock

<p>The latest in my series of cutaway locks. This time I went for a flat model where the key moves axially to the keyway. </p><p> </p><p>Note that there are two printable options. </p><ol><li>Without the “screws” suffix - In this case you will need to glue the lid to the lock or leave it open (but the springs will pop out). Note that since the springs are also 3d printed they will deteriorate with use.</li><li>With the “screws” suffix - In this case the lid is held to the bottom part with screws. That way you can easily service the lock and replace the springs if needed but you will also need to buy extra screws. The screws used are M3 12mm screws and corresponding nuts. You can buy those from Aliexpress for cheap.</li></ol><p> </p><p>If you want me to generate additional keys, there is a generator on my OnShape profile. Message me for details.</p>
