Flat Keycap for Cherry MX & Kailh Switches
thingiverse
This is a flat keycap designed specifically for the Cherry MX & Kailh switches found in mechanical keyboards. When printed properly, it fits remarkably well alongside the original components. You can find the standard .stl file, along with a .step and an .iges file, available for download, allowing you to customize the design as desired. The flat nature of this keycap design makes it incredibly easy to place logos or letters directly onto the caps. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Finder Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 100 Microns Infill: 100% Notes: I strongly recommend printing with a resolution of 100 Microns or less, and at a slow printing speed. This is necessary to achieve the precise fit required for this keycap on your switches. I successfully printed it using Simplify3D as my slicer, at a speed of 2000mm/min.
