Flat Filament Clip
cults3d
Are you tired of using the same old filament clips? Do you want something that looks and works a bit differently? Now you can use the Flat Filament Clip, which I highly recommend trying first with the new HALF_tripple version (first photo). This updated design has evolved from the original and turned out to be even better. The Flat Filament Clip comes in three length models, plus two HALF versions. It's designed specifically for 1.75mm filaments, but you can easily resize it to use with 3mm filaments by scaling it up to 171-172%. You can use the original model as shown on the photo - just remember to bend it like in the picture, not the other way around. This will allow it to function like a flat spring, holding the rest of the filament (4cm version will hold it with the greatest force). Alternatively, you can use the hole on the spool side and bend it the other way to create more space. The HALF versions are even easier to use. One part goes under the filament and the 'head' holds one or two lines (depending on the version). If you break the original clip in two parts, it can still be used to hold the filament, just like the HALF version. Looking for more options?
