Flat bottom of flower

I tried to print filiptheking's "flower" but it wouldn't sit flat when I sliced it in Cura. The first layer always showed a small area touching the build plate and the next layer being the full first layer. I put his file into meshmixer and used the plane cut feature to chop off the bottom layer, making it sit flat.
