If you choose to use the hole, simply remove the peg from the slide and fill the opening or download the revised file to print a new top slide with no high peg. When activated, the base plate and any objects attached to it are pushed back and forth, triggering the DPST slide switch underneath and simultaneously throwing the turnout via the connected control wire. The DPST switch also has the capability to reverse the polarity of the frog.
