Flashlight to Spotlight
thingiverse
This is my interpretation of a floor model spotlight, designed to hold the cheap 3.5 inch, 9 LED flashlight. I found this type of flashlight at https://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?dir=asc&order=EAScore%2Cf%2CEAFeatured+Weight%2Cf%2CSale+Rank%2Cf&q=flashlight and also at https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-6-LED-Aluminum-Flashlight-10-Pack/38763652. I used M3*16 screws to attach the bracket, which screw in perfectly without tapping. I added a little glue to the hole if needed for extra security. To give it a more realistic view, I colored in the 3 vent holes and side panel with Black Sharpie paint. The tripod mount is a remix of this great tripod design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1663259. The Heero Tripod stand by guzu is licensed under the Creative Commons - Attribution license. STL files of legs are provided to make it easy to build. If you build the tripod, please share with the originator at the Thingiverse link.
