Flashlight Scope Clamp / Mount

Flashlight Scope Clamp / Mount

Crafted a compact flashlight clamp to securely mount my red flashlight onto the rifle scope for effective coyote hunting. Both clamp sections are designed specifically for 1-inch diameter tubes, ensuring a precise fit. A 1/4-20 bolt is utilized to connect the two parts, and I've added a cap that allows effortless adjustment without needing any tools. The opposite side of the clamp features a recessed area to accommodate the 1/4-20 nut. Currently, this setup works satisfactorily, although I'm considering fortifying the bolt side to obviate the necessity for spacers when using the cap; in the meantime, it functions adequately. The design involves printing with supports, although it's likely they're unnecessary (MakerWare only added central support to the through holes). Fortunately, my 40mm objective lens clears the scope with ease, but I need to experiment further to see how well the setup will perform with my 50mm lens; if necessary, I'll have to extend the entire assembly.
