Flashing LED On Air Sign
pinshape
I utilized a pre-existing On Air sign from crimsonlion518 and a 9v battery holder from ahmetcemturan to craft this On Air LED Flashing sign for Filament Friday. The design was finalized in Tinkercad and the electronics were built onto a CNC milled circuit board. The electronic circuit is an Astable Multivibrator circuit that generates the back-and-forth LED flashing without any microcontroller. Further details can be found in my YouTube video: https://youtu.be/ev_GN92xay4 Printing Settings Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 25% Notes: PLA After printing, the electronic board was secured with double-sided foam tape and the switch was screwed into place at the top of the box. The battery fit snugly into its socket.
