Flashforge Top Plate New
thingiverse
I designed an improved version of the stock top plate tube holder after identifying its limitations. The new design maintains the same thickness as the original, which was satisfactory. To enhance stability and support for the two feeder tubes, I added sleeves to secure them in place. Additionally, a 2-inch long sleeve was incorporated with indentations for tie wraps, providing a neat and organized space for wiring. Another consideration is replacing the unsightly spiral wrap on cables with 1-inch Grip Wrap Sleeving from cabletiesandmore.com. This type of sleeving is similar to that used in the Makerbot Replicator but offers adjustable diameter and velcro-like functionality. It can be wrapped around a harness, overlapping the split sleeve and secured with tie wraps.
