People say that nuts can print without rafts. The tower itself can be printed without supports, but with a raft. If you print it big side down, use supports, or at least they advise using them. You may need to clean up the leading thread edge on the small side if printed the original way (large side up). Experts recommend using at least 75% infill with PLA, three shells, five layer floors and ceilings. This is a remix of mbergin's original model. All I've done is split the models using Netfabb, and scaled the nuts up 2% to address a mis-fitting issue. Print Settings Printer Brand: PowerSpec Printer: PowerSpec 3D Pro Rafts: It doesn't matter which one you choose. Supports: They're not necessary in this case. Resolution: A resolution of 200 Micron is perfect for printing nuts. Infill: Use at least 75% infill with PLA.
