The Flashforge Creator Pro's spool holders are specifically designed to work seamlessly with Flashforge spools. Other brands may not fit securely, often falling off within a few minutes. These proprietary locks on non-Flashforge spools ensure they stay in place. For a secure fit, the internal diameter of the spool must be at least 57mm. To use a spool, simply insert it into position and push the locks inward horizontally. It's essential to note that there are distinct right and left locks marked R and L, which cannot spin freely with the spool. This is designed to prevent them from coming loose over time. When removing the locks, turn them in the opposite direction of the spool rotation (from the printer's front: counterclockwise for the right lock and clockwise for the left lock) and then gently pull them out.
