I was having Major Flexible filament issues with my Flashforge Guider 2s, I spent awhile trying out other extruder feeder replacement designs and none seemed to work. I assume its due to the design of the Guider 2s HT nozzle design being a cone style inside to feed the filament in. Flashforge told me to "print slower" I tried that, filament still jammed. 0 retraction, still jammed with stock nozzle. I own a Creator Pro with a Flexion kit and I found this Flexible extruder by MathieuS fit perfectly with a little bit of slight modifications and you can see the results work excellently! What You'll need: - PTFE tube - filament cutters - sand paper or preferably a disc sander - drill with 3mm or 4mm bit (can also use sandpaper) How to: After the print has finished you'll need to shave down the end of a PTFE tube to a cone shape I used a disc sander with 400grit but im sure you can get the job done by laying 200-400grit down on a table and just rub the PTFE tube on the paper to get the cone shape, you don't want any small bits falling off into the extruder so clean it before installing. Once its shaved down to a cone shape like shown in my photo's test fit it into the extruder guide hole to make sure its able to fit flush, next you'll want to check if the PTFE fits into the hole on the newly printed extruder design if it doesn't fit snug get some sand paper or 3mm or 4mm drill bit and trim a tiny bit so it fits snug, not too loose just snug so you can feed the tube through with a bit of pressure so it'll stay. Now that you've attached the PTFE to the printed extruder guide you'll want to remove the extruder gear like I've shown in the pic and attach the oem screws like i've shown in my picture. Insert the PFTE end into the extruder block and screw in bottom 2 screws of the extruder drive into the machine as if you are putting it back together. Once the drive is secured to the machine you'll want to push the PFTE tube down, once you cannot push it anymore you'll know its secure with the inside of the extruder heat block. Next remove the newly printed Extruder Filament Guide from the drive and trim the top end down so it matches and flows with the area where the extruder gear goes and the filament bearing will roll, it needs to be flush so the filament can be fed through properly, I've shown a picture of what it should look like. Once its complete you can reassemble the guide and drive gear back onto the machine and prepare to enjoy printing in Flexible Material! Enjoy!
