Simple accessory allows external PLA filaments to feed through the side. Functionality improves significantly when the drum is positioned very close to the printer and spins smoothly without any wobble. The drum shown in the image has an additional adapter that securely fits the small size of the spindle with the large diameter of the drum hole. Previously, it used to become entangled if I didn't secure it properly. This reel adapter continues to function even when printing at low resolution. Since it will be mostly concealed, this issue is not a concern. It's also recommended to use rubber bands to keep the reel in place. Update: A slight reduction has been made to the hole size to better hold the conduit firmly in its position.
