Flashforge Finder 3 - Custom Fan Shroud
thingiverse
The Flashforge Finder 3 is factory equipped with a traditional perforated injection molded fan shroud attached to a rigid frame with two M3 screws. A 3D-printed fan shroud developed by Ray Bonneau for the Voxelab Aquila S2 has now inspired the design of a similar shroud for everyday use on the Finder 3. In this design, two viewing ports have been added: one on the front of the shroud to facilitate filament loading; and one on the right side of the shroud to enable visual inspection of the heater block. In addition, a short length of 5 mm o.d. PTFE tubing serves as a guide when inserting filament into the hot end assembly. The typical print time using Flashprint is under 3 hours.
