I designed an alternative spool holder that accommodates undersized holes on spools, addressing a common issue with many DIY solutions. This design incorporates filleted corners to minimize stress concentrations, a key failure point in my previous 3D-printed filament holders. To achieve optimal results, print the design as shown without a raft and minimal support material, assuming your printer and material are capable of bridging effectively. For those seeking symmetry, you can use the customizer to adjust the part accordingly; however, this will necessitate additional support material. Regardless, it's crucial to print in the orientation recommended by the slicer for maximum structural integrity.
