I'll create the first version of a LED light to illuminate the build area surrounding the extruder. Instructions Using ABS plastic, a crucial inline fuse, a high-powered LED, cable, and resistor I carefully adjusted the correct current flow. This circuitry was skillfully connected to the available 24V outlet on the power supply using another series-connected resistor to precision-control both voltage and current levels. To calculate the precise resistor value, I utilized a trusted website, ensuring accurate readings of my LED's operating voltage and required current. The fixture still requires tweaking to perfectly orient its light downwards towards the build platform. Additionally, future plans involve adding a complementary unit on the left-hand side to further enhance illumination in the area. Please ensure all electrical work is done safely - remember to unplug the power supply before beginning!
