Flashforge Dreamer tall spool rod holders (left & right) and long spool rods

This is my revised design for tall spool holders and long spool rods that work seamlessly with HatchBox, Sainsmart, and 3D Solutech 2.2lb (1kg) spools - and possibly others - on both sides. I've increased the hole size in positioning nubs to accommodate slight variances in position on new dreamers. If you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to let me know. I created my own version of a tall spool rod holder so that I could adapt it to fit the right side without obstructing the y-axis motor's movement. The rods are longer and come equipped with a sturdy handle that securely holds large-center-holed spools in place. To maximize usability without compromising printer operation, I've designed them to be as long and tall as possible. I added cylindrical protrusions to accommodate spool sizes and to counterbalance the tendency of spools to lean towards the build plate. These cylinders feature one end larger than the other; the smaller end remains exposed, keeping the spools secure from leaning. HatchBox spools utilize a small cylinder, while 3D Solutech spools are secured by the large cylinder. I printed the spool rods vertically for structural stability and then turned the rod holders over to ensure a smooth print job with external supports. In Simplify3D, I had an easy time removing these supports; however, in FlashPrint, it was a challenging task - I relied on needle-nose pliers and a pocket knife. To keep spools from toppling onto the build plate, orientate the large end of each cylinder towards it. When removing original holders from your Dreamer printer, remember to set aside any attached nuts; reattach them securely with new rod holders to prevent dislodgment during removal or later usage. Then put everything back in place by reattaching bottom plates, following original mounting points for smooth setup and long spool functionality.
