FlashForge Dreamer Stock Duct Modification
thingiverse
Here's a Text Rewriting Bot output. Cooling air duct specifically designed for the right extruder on the FlashForge Dreamer, along with other printers sharing a similar left side blower configuration in dual extrusion systems. The standard cooling system prioritizes airflow to the left extruder, causing the right extruder to struggle when working with PLA materials during print operations. This modification is tailored to direct cooling air towards the right extruder, thereby enhancing overall printing performance. I originally designed this modification with a focus on providing even cooling to both extruders, but with the standard blower fan configuration in place, dividing airflow resulted in decreased print quality due to inadequate air circulation to each extruder. It's strongly recommended that prints be executed using ABS material, as printing PLA could potentially melt or compromise the integrity of the cooling duct. This mod includes three printable files: RB-C0100-1 is a comprehensive assembly encompassing both main housing and insert components necessary for operation; RB-C0101-1 provides the primary component housing that needs to be attached together with its corresponding insert component, thereby eliminating support requirements during printing operations.
