Flashforge Dreamer Palette 2 PTFE Mounting Bracket

<p>2 Material mounting bracket to attach the Palette 2 to a FlashForge Dreamer at any extruder (unfortunately, the bracket for the Creator Pro did not work...)</p> <p>Parts attached:</p> <ul> <li>"Fuss": counter bracket to give more support when adding the PTFE tube for printing</li> <li>"Halter": base plate for the backet</li> <li>"Gummi x.x": TPU component to stick the PTFE tube in</li> </ul> <p>The "Gummi" part offers several diameters, select the one matching your PTFE tube to make plugging / unplugging more comfortable. Tests with 4.8mm diameter showed a tight fit when plugging in, but almost<em>impossible</em> to remove the tube again (which is necessary to remove remaining filament after a print):</p> <ul> <li>FFD Palette Gummi 5.0 ==&gt; 5.0mm diameter</li> <li>... 5.5 ==&gt; 5.5mm diameter</li> <li>... 6.0 ==&gt; 6.0mm diameter</li> </ul> <p>Suggest to print them all and test the fit of the tube prior to installation</p> <p>"Halter" offers a M4 thread to ease handling and printing of all parts feel free to replace or even remove completely in case your bracket has enough rigidity. Tests with a first version showed the PLA bending over a 6h print</p> <p><strong>What you need else</strong></p> <p>Since the modification is an "add-on" to the hotend lid, you'll need to replace the 2 M3x15 screws securing the plastic part on top of the carriage by 2 M3x20 screws.</p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
