Flashforge Dreamer fan grill replacement
thingiverse
Most Flashforge Dreamer models don't have metal grills, and this was added later. If your model is one of them, it's possible you're missing necessary screw lengths for a replacement grill. Models without these grills will experience several issues when trying to install the grill:\nThey can't tighten screws securely,\nit tightens too much and warps/bends the grill,\nor leaves an unsightly mess on the fan blades.\nOne simple fix is using small spacers, but chrome guards have a 1990s look I don't care for. Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: Any Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Minimal supports on this, two small spots where screws sink into the grill face. Recommended to use these; can't hurt anything and the screws hide ugliness. Post-Printing Screw hole width Found holes to be too tight after printing but liked how well it handled posts regarding infill, so left it alone. Be aware you WILL need to widen these out a bit, 1/8" drill bit on super low speed does the trick. Especially when using PLA. Designed this in just a few minutes at Tinkercad.com
