Flashforge Dreamer 5mm Z-axis Shim (for glass bed upgrade)
thingiverse
This is the Flashforge Dreamer glass bed upgrade 5mm shim. This part is the same one that comes with the Makersome Glass Bed Upgrade kit, and it works perfectly with glass plates that are 5mm thick. We re-designed this part to have a little tighter tolerance than others we had tried, which allows it to sit better and more sturdily on the z-axis for even more accurate printing. To print it: Print it out using ABS or PLA plastic (we use ABS). Our printer uses a layer resolution of 0.2 and infill percentage of 100%, so no supports are needed at all. We printed this with an extruder temperature of 230C and 110C on the build plate. What you'll need: - 2 corner brackets - 2 M3 screws already installed on the printer bed - 2 M3 fine thread wingnuts - 1 Z-axis shim - 1 Glass Bed Plate Find the corner pieces at this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:715545. To install: Just place it behind the Flashforge nameplate behind the print bed and it will fit snugly without needing glue or screws. Make sure the side with angle cuts and pockets for screws in the middle is facing down.
