Flashforge Creator X/Pro - filament feed holder
thingiverse
The original feed pipe clip is too far away from my machine at times, so the filament starts to wind around itself on the spool and everything becomes jammed (most notably after my prints finish about 90% of the time). So I designed this as a substitute. I posted the CAD file, so if it doesn't fit your machine just modify it yourself! There are other options available online like this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:22649 Instructions: Just print it out. I printed without support material, without any raft layer, with only a slight amount of skirt surrounding the outside perimeter (you can skip printing skirt if you prefer). You might need to accept some slight unevenness around the screw holes. You may want to consider increasing shell thickness to 4 or 5 layers for added durability and strength. For infill density, aim for about 10~15% which should be sufficient in most cases. I used con-central top/bottom fill to create a neater-looking finish on my print; doing so also adds structural support. Make sure you don't insert the larger square opening upwards during installation!
