Flashforge Creator X users opting for a 3mm glass plate can use the provided shim to account for the additional thickness. However, this adjustment reduces build plate height by approximately 3 mm due to the Creator X's thicker construction compared to the wooden Creator. To lower the build plate using adjustment screws, one would need shorter springs or a thinner hot plate, which may not be available. The shim design was created based on early Creator X models from February 2014 and has since been updated to include various shim sizes. The instructions were made in 3Dsmax.
