FlashForge Creator Pro Umbilical Bracket
thingiverse
Hi There, The main wire set, which I've dubbed the Umbilical Cord on my FlashForge Creator Pro, has taken to bending itself to one side and now relentlessly rubs against the plexiglass top. This irritation prompted me to design a straightforward bracket that leverages the existing cabinet screw. Its slim profile measures just 1mm thick, but it gets the job done without requiring unnecessary bulk. To secure the cable in place, I've opted for a single zip tie attachment. For added flexibility, the bracket can be easily swiveled in either direction to accommodate any desired offset. So far, I've been using this setup for several weeks without encountering any issues. However, I plan to upgrade from a zip tie to clips as soon as possible for enhanced stability. Thanks for taking a look! For optimal results, I recommend using a robust infill type and a high infill percentage to ensure structural integrity.
