Update Apr/3/2016: changed the model's orientation to a better printing orientation - two rods now run along the print bed, mirroring helicopter landing gear. Today, I printed a new one using Hatchbox yellow ABS with support material, achieving excellent results through slicing with Simplify3D. This holder is customizable for Flashforge Creator Pro filament guide tubes, keeping their ends at a safe distance from the printer case to prevent entanglement and positioning them at an angle that complements the superior Makerbot acrylic dome. Best results were achieved by printing in the orientation specified within the .stl file, utilizing material support. ABS was used with a bed temperature of 110 degrees and nozzle temperature of 230; increasing the nozzle temperature enhances layer bonding and overall strength.
