Flashforge Creator Pro Slanted LCD Panel

I love my Flashforge Creator Pro, but one ergonomic problem was driving me crazy - when I stood next to it, I couldn't see the display because it's too low and vertical. I had to step back or bend down just to check settings. No more. This design gives me a 45% slanted front panel that lets me see the display clearly from anywhere. Design goals: * Create an ergonomic front panel. * Leave the original setup intact, so I can always revert if needed. * Print the design on the FF itself. The design is provided as-is. It works great for me, but may need some tweaks - like accurate PCB screw positions. Here are my notes from building it: * I printed with ABS and support material from bed only, using 4 shell layers and Simplify3D. * I used white ABS, scraped off excess, then painted a few coats of Krylon flat black spray paint. * Get or build wire extenders for the connectors - standard 0.1" male/female dupont headers. * I didn't connect the bottom button wires since I chose not to light up the buttons. * I used M3 threaded inserts and pushed them with a solder iron, available from McMaster or eBay. * One downside is that when you stand close, you see a reflection in the clear door. Cover it with blue painter tape if it bothers you. * To access the electronic box, remove the door and black front panel of the FF - there are M3 screws around the front and two smaller ones at the bottom. * The PCBs mount with M3 x 5mm cap head screws.
