Flashforge Creator Pro Raspberry Pi Camera Mount 2016

I liked the design by Kenotic and was ready to download, only to discover that newer 2016 Flashforge Creator Pro models no longer feature little holes in the top corners, rendering the original design incompatible with these updated printers. Fortunately, I found a clever spot in the corner where I could mount it and gave their design a remix. My revised version makes use of the screw and hole located on the left side of the FlashForge. However, please note that the stock screw is too short, so you'll need to pick up an M4 x 16mm screw and an M4 wingnut (along with an M4 washer or lockwasher if desired). Simply remove the stock screw and replace it with the new one. Next, position the mount over the screw and secure it using the wing nut. I've created two different length versions of the mount: Tall and Tallest. While mine has yet to be hit by the motor carriage, these varying lengths give you the flexibility to decide which version suits your needs best. The pictures shown were taken using the Tall version. The v1 cam knob is specifically designed for v1 pi cameras, whereas the v2 knob is intended for v2 pi cameras (both of which have been left unaltered and borrowed from Kenotic and Bradleyw). I printed this design using ABS material with 100% infill to ensure maximum strength. To create your own version, you'll need: M4 x 16mm screw, M4 Wingnut, M4 Washer Comments are welcome, and I'd love to see how you've adapted this design for your own use! -UPDATE- I've uploaded a V2 version of both the Tall and Tallest sizes. These revised designs feature increased thickness and added reinforcement for enhanced stability. They also help reduce vibrations when printing small objects quickly, providing a much smoother experience than their predecessors. I've removed these older versions from the download files in favor of these upgraded versions.
