Check out this innovative project on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1194922 . This custom part is designed to replace the stock top extruder plate on the Flashforge Creator Pro. It effectively secures the wire bundle to the extruder and optimizes the interaction between the filament guide tubes and the extruder. Installation requires minimal effort - simply cut the cable tie holding the wires to the spacer, remove two M3 screws (taking note of their differing lengths, 15mm vs 20mm), carefully remove the original plate. You can disconnect the stepper motor connectors without needing to cut any wires or dismantle the extruder. Then, place the new plate in position, secure the cable bundle using cable ties and fix the plate to the extruder top with two screws. When securing the plate, it's best to replace the longer screw with a M3x15 screw; however, if this is not available, you can utilize the M3 spacer that comes with this model to ensure even screw length. I print using ABS filament at 110C bed temperature and 230C nozzle temperature. I typically set my printer for 3 shell layers, 25% infill, and use Simplify3D for slicing.
