I build a robust filament spool holder with a durable 608-2RS ball bearing and a sturdy 8mm galvanized steel threaded rod for each holder. To assemble each spool holder, you will need to print several parts: One substantial screw (screw.stl) to securely fasten the threaded rod in place. Two reliable filament holders (filament_holder.stl), designed to keep filament spools precisely positioned and secure. Two adjustable screw holders (screw_holder.stl), which enable you to customize the placement of the filament spool as needed. I used a strong adhesive to bond the threaded rod firmly inside the big screw, ensuring stability and support. To finalize the assembly, you'll need to turn the screw holder onto the threaded rod to manually create the thread, allowing for smooth operation.
