FlashForge Creator Pro - BigTreeTech Octopus Board Mount
thingiverse
This design was inspired by the [BigTreeTech SKR Board Mount](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4894995), only for the BigTreeTech Octopus board on the FFCP 2016. I used the same basic concept as the SKR version, but rendered it from scratch using OpenSCAD so that it can be easily tweaked and modified. Both the OpenSCAD source file and rendered STL that I printed are included. The FFCP MightyBoard mounting hole position data I obtained from the Excellon Drill File from the actual MightyBoard Rev E PCB details, so they are exact. And I switched the BTT mounting holes to use heatset inserts from Initeq. Hardware Used: (4) M3x8 Socket Head Cap Screws (4) M3 Flat Washers (4) M3-0.5 Short [Heatset Insert from Initeq](https://initeq.info/product/qty-100-m3-3mm-m3-0-5-brass-threaded-metal-heat-set-screw-inserts-3d-printing) Existing screws from FFCP MightyBoard Yes, the Octopus is overkill for a FFCP, but it's cheap enough -- why not? I'm going to call the printer rebuild the "OctoForge" ... the Octopus board with a OctoPi [Raspberry Pi running OctoPrint].
