The 2016 FFCP has solid sides with molded indents for lift handles so earlier designs for tool holders won't work with it. I designed this system to provide a flexible way to mount holders etc. to the printer. The rail is in two pieces with a long tang to connect them, making pressure or acetone welding possible (assuming ABS). The rail mounts on the mid-height screws on the sides of the printer, requiring M4 25mm screws to replace the ones in the box. A generic bracket and locking bar simplify adding other hanging items, while included designs for my purposes - a hook, a print removal spatula holder, and two tool boxes - make it straightforward to design additional hangers. I'll add any new designs that fit my system. Added a hinged trashbin meant to sit under the tray, convenient for waste plastic bits near the printer. Use a straightened thin paper clip as the hinge pin. A set of "arm" parts allows for movable mounts with flexible positioning in the horizontal plane. The hook, link, and vertical connector provide multiple options for reach or flex. In my case, I mounted the Pi case running OctoPrint at the end of a hook, link, link, vertical, longmount sequence. Note that matching toothed posts on the mount parts and vertical ensure stability in the angle of vertical positioning. Rotate as desired then press to engage the teeth. A better trash bin was added after using the old one for four months. The new design lifts off easily to empty and doesn't have a lid, making it easier to remove waste. A second bin with a hanger for the rail and press clips to lock the hanger to the rail is included. A slightly longer rail that fits Qidi printers was also added. Print Settings I printed these in ABS with supports as necessary. Printing rails with their outer side down (no supports) and hangers with the hanger part vertical gives clearances right for ABS. If printing in another material or orientation, adjust clearances to get a clean press fit of the locking bar and hanging of the hangers on the rails. I recently printed the new trash bin in PETG and it worked fine.
