FlashForge Creator Pro 2016 Spool Holder

A few months into 3D printer ownership and I discover that not all spools are created equally, with some mounting options proving woefully inadequate. Take, for instance, the mounts that come with my FFCP (2016), which are lamentably shallow to hold a specific brand of filament I purchased online. I couldn't find a solution that precisely fit my needs, so I took matters into my own hands and created one! This spool holder is designed to hang off the back of the printer, much like the original setup, but with some key improvements. The mounts are significantly larger, accommodating spools up to 75mm wide. A tab on the back that inserts into the case measures a generous 49mm in width. The maximum diameter of the post is similarly impressive at 49mm, while the end cap boasts an even more substantial diameter of 53mm. With the sloped tip, threading a spool onto the holder should be a straightforward and easy process. Theoretically, this holder should also work seamlessly with other FFCP/Replicator clones. This design is intended to be printed without support structures (those pesky annoyances), which can often get in the way of a smooth print job.
