FlashForge Creator Pro 2016 - Dual extrusion fan duct REMIX
thingiverse
I made significant changes to improve manufacturing without internal supports for parts that are inaccessible. I incorporated a central rib into the air vents and main intake of the fan, making it easier to manufacture without support in hard-to-reach areas. The custom support was designed using my printer's software, FlashPrint, and a small angle was added to the air outlet to improve airflow. The result is a better-printed model with less risk of supports detaching during printing. Like the original designer, I included the SolidWorks file for anyone who wants to make further improvements or modifications. I successfully printed this design on my FlashForge Creator Pro 2016 without issues. To help others print without supports, I've added images showing the support guides and cuts where the model's nerve is observed. This can be a useful reference when printing parts with complex geometries. Note: If you have a printer with excellent adhesion, you may not need a base for this design. However, if your printer is prone to warping or detaching corners during printing, using a base is highly recommended. Original File: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1597507
