"You are recommended to use the left extruder to print with PLA, while the right extruder is designed to print with ABS. This instruction comes directly from the FlashForge Creator Pro 2016 manual and represents a major limitation of this printer. However, after conducting extensive testing, I discovered that this printer has the capability to utilize the right extruder for printing PLA and produce exceptional dual-strusion prints. To unlock this potential, you need only an enhanced fan duct. As evident from the attached images, this improved fan duct significantly enhances print quality and accuracy. You can effortlessly replace the stock fan duct with this model without having to relocate the fan or make any drastic adjustments to your machine. Instructions: Download and print the STL file in ABS using recommended print settings. Ensure that your printer has cooled down before attempting to install this component. Remove the three bolts securing the fan to the extruders. Carefully separate the fan from the included duct. Move the fan away from the extruders and verify if the new duct fits without applying excessive force. If you encounter difficulties inserting the new duct, carefully sand it slightly. Once both parts fit securely, align the fan in its place (but do not reinstall the bolts yet!). Install the new fan duct from below to avoid any collisions with the bands. Reinstall the three bolts to secure the fan to the extruders. I have included the SolidWorks file for your reference, so feel free to contribute your ideas on how to further enhance this design."
