In an update dated 1/30/2016, a new version of the fan-mount with a flat base was introduced (file name: fan-mount-7b2). Previously, on September 26th, 2014, a modification was made to provide better support under the fan area for improved finish, although testing had not been conducted at that time. To download this updated version, use "fan-mount-7b." Finally completing the project after six failed attempts, the fan was sourced from a discarded computer and converted into a 50mm fan mount without requiring screws; simply snap it on. However, electrical wiring knowledge is required for installation, which the creator lacks. For Flashforge Creator compatibility, follow these steps: remove support structures after printing, attach the fan mount as shown in the photos, and ensure it's higher than the nozzles. Use at your own risk due to the lack of electrical wiring expertise involved.
