FlashForge Creater Pro - Spring loaded extruder block
thingiverse
Hey guys spring loaded.... I just love printing in the spring season so much that I made this just to see if it works or not. Printed on my favorite printer in PLA but ABS is definitely going to have better temperature resistance next time around. The tension of this design can be tweaked easily by inserting a piece of paper between the holder and the spring itself. As for making it adjustable, I am currently trying to figure out how to add some kind of screw mechanism that can make these kinds of things work more smoothly. Here's how to assemble and use your new item Assemble first Okay so this might be kind of tricky depending on the way you're printing but just keep in mind a few little tips here and there can really make the process easier. So I always tell my fellow 3d print enthusiast to take their time with the first layer when trying to print objects like springs as sometimes the filament can start warping and even worse - popping up. Tips and tricks A quick reminder that the ideal temperature range for a smooth printing experience would be anywhere from 220c to 235c.
