Flashforge bracket to hold dial gauge for accurate setup
cults3d
This bracket attaches to the front face of the print head (right in front of the fans) and holds a standard dial gauge. I use a Toolzone 0-10mm version that has a holding shaft of 8mm, but you can widen the hole if required. To use, lower the Z platform to about half way, attach the bracket (with the dial gauge). Position your print head X/Y to one of the corners and then slowly raise the Z platform until you get a reading. You can now use the X/Y controls to move around the platform, adjusting each of the lower screws until you have a perfectly level build surface.
