This mount enables the Flashforge Creator (Replicator Dual clone) to employ a Bowden extruder by virtue of its design. I am attempting this endeavor to insulate the steppers from the aluminium cooling block, which is subject to excessive heat generation, and thus enable the implementation of a step-down gear train capable of overcoming PLA jams that are notoriously stubborn. The right-hand clamp also includes an end-stop pusher to replace the motor sidewall in the original configuration. In its design, this model is parametric, allowing for different aluminium block mounting hole positions to be easily accommodated by modifying options.scad as needed. The Bowden clamp was inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3775, but I made several modifications, including accommodating shorter screws and reducing the mounting screw distance.
