Flashforge Backlight
thingiverse
I engineered this backlight panel to surpass its predecessor, delivering even more illumination for the interior. The combination of black and light blue ABS was utilized and printed at half the normal speed to achieve a seamless panel. To ensure a flawless fit, some cleaning and filing is necessary to prepare the parts. Prior to attempting to snap the LED panel into place on the back panel, verify that it will securely fit through the opening from the front side. I employed Simplify 3D slicer with supports and 50% fill to achieve optimal results. Two arrays of 5 LEDs each, connected in series with a 390 ohm 1/4 watt resistor, are powered via the existing 24V supply, providing additional internal lighting. Furthermore, I integrated a connector between the panel and power supply, as well as an On-Off switch to the front panel for enhanced functionality.
