This is a custom designed dust cover for the Y Axis rail of the Flash Forge Adventurer 3 printer. The printer's design prioritizes ease of use over frequent servicing, with all rods and rails easily accessible - except for the Y axis rod, which lies below the printer deck. To minimize dust accumulation in lower areas during storage, I created this CAM action dust cover. This clever mechanism allows the print bed to push the cover forward and out of its slot when the printer is turned on after a prolonged period, gently nudging the door open to alert users that the cover was in place. Recommended printing parameters: Layer height: 0.18mm or less for optimal results Shell count: Three layers provide sufficient strength and stability Infill density: 15% ensures adequate structural integrity without excessive material usage Supports: None are required, thanks to the printer's design and the cover's functionality Raft: Not necessary due to the cover's effective sealing and the printer's overall build quality
