PTFE Tube Extension to allow external filament rolls to be used without opening the side panel… I modified the PTFE tube adapter currently on Thingiverse to suit a standard tube fitting. Was easy to just add a threaded bit to allow screwing the fitting into the support bracket. I also reinforced the bracket to make it stronger and added the extra “Ear” tab to prevent any movement. The PTFE tube fits neatly up into the original extruder (see photos). Works well an the filament path is pretty much straight now…..
