Flash Stapler
thingiverse
Don't be concerned, it won't damage your flash chips; it will simply assist in programming new ones. To put it precisely, it's a clip designed specifically for programming using pogo pins. What is its purpose? Sometimes you need to update a device, but upon inspection, you find that the pin headers used for programming are not soldered in place. If you're not too lazy (or have plenty of time and inspiration), this isn't an issue: simply solder out the pin headers, and the problem is resolved. However, what do you do if you don't want to compromise your device with unnecessary components or if you've grown tired of spending precious time on creative endeavors like soldering pin headers? Of course, create the Flash Stapler and revolutionize the world (at least, part of it) by re-flashing. It's not particularly difficult to make: simply purchase some pogo pins and a pin header, print out the design, and assemble the device.
