Flash Stand
thingiverse
I loved Walter's original design, but my Nissin i40 flash was just a bit too snug to slide onto the rails. I recreated Walter's layout as closely as possible in AutoCAD so I could slim down the slide-on rails (to 1.4mm), and this fits my flash gun much better now. I also took advantage of this chance to eliminate the overhanging 'bridge' section, allowing the whole thing to print without any support, provided it's printed face-downwards. I printed it in PLA with 100% infill, and it is perfectly strong enough without that bridge section.
