This is a sleeve that fits over the head of a Yongnu YN660 flash (inexpensive) and organically morphs into a circular profile. It was designed to allow a 67 to 72 mm step-up ring adapter to be epoxied on so that any 72 mm filter can be installed or removed easily. I am using a Hoya U-340 filter that only transmits UV and the flash has had the front plastic filters removed so that the raw xenon flash is exposed. This produces a UV flash for macro photography.
