Flash Forge Creator Pro Dummy Extruder
thingiverse
Removing one of my FlashForge's extruders allows for a smoother operation, as I no longer require two-color printing capabilities. Upon disassembling the removed extruder, I recognized a space void which, if left unattended, caused performance issues. Consequently, I designed and constructed a straightforward "dummy" extruder to fill this void. Leaving both fan and nozzle in place, I loosened the nozzle's set screw, allowing it to move upwards to clear the new dummy setup. Using extra 3mm nuts from my parts collection, I secured the fan bolts since they now lacked threading into the former extruder's space. By following a comprehensive video guide available at this link https://www.dropbox.com/s/bv32t9wf0z30sh9/How%20to%20disassemble%20the%20extruder.mov?dl=0, I successfully removed the left extruder from my machine.
