A flare gun, a firearm used for signalling purposes, particularly at sea or on land to aircraft, is not designed as a weapon. It can be employed whenever a distress signal is required; the flares must be shot directly above for enhanced visibility and location revelation. This concept involves a scaled-down flare gun in drone dimensions, accepting 1in diameter flares. Equipped with a wireless camera capturing footage during flight, Emergency Rescue personnel can use it to survey searched areas. Upon locating the target, they can launch the flare from the drone, signaling nearby rescue teams for precise location information. The design was created using CATIA V5R21, and renderings were provided by KeyShot 5.0, with additional exceptional renderings courtesy of Mel Rent.
