Flappy Ball

Flappy Ball

thingiverse

Flappy Ball is a toy available in two sizes, large and small. To play, insert a ball into Flappy Ball and place your fingers on its flaps before rocking it back and forth to set the ball rolling on the inner cylinder. The small version can hold a ball bearing or marble, while the large one accommodates a ball bearing, marble, or ping pong ball. Demonstrations of both sizes are available on YouTube. Flappy Ball demonstrates the principle of rocking motion around the z-axis, resulting in the ball rolling along the y-axis. Print this toy with a raft and supports for optimal results; we recommend using a MakerBot Replicator 2 with 2 shells and 10% infill.
