This 3D model demonstrates the reinforcement of a flap gate situated at the Sió Flood Gate in Hungary. The model was captured with a Leica P20 laser scanner and created in Autodesk Inventor using point cloud data. In 2020, a segment of the Sió Árvízkapu dam was renovated, during which we were commissioned to conduct a geodetic survey and create a 3D model of the area. The survey was performed with a Leica Scanstation P20 laser scanner. This technology is perfectly suited for tasks like this because it allows for quick, precise, and highly detailed measurements of objects that are difficult or hazardous to approach.
