I designed custom flanges and rails for an astronomical telescope with an optical instrument diameter of 70mm. However, the outer diameter of the tube is slightly smaller, approximately 76mm. Initially, I created these modifications to replace the original mounting system, which was not satisfactory (such as an azimuth mount with a sliding bar). Commercial metal flanges are quite expensive for their quality and functionality. Additionally, gutter flanges adapted as telescope flanges may not be available in all diameters, while researcher flanges often have some discrepancies. That's why I fabricated these custom adapters that can fit on both 70-500 Skywatcher and 70-700 Meade telescopes.
