Ikea's FLAMTRÄD hands are intended to be a hook for hats and the like, mounted to the wall. We bought one as a ring holder and prefer to have it sitting on a desk at a different angle, so I made this 'adapter'. Puddle base increases the footprint so its harder to knock over. designed to look like a 'lady of the lake' situation with hand rising out of the water.
